Individual manuscript critiques are being offered Friday and Saturday by New York Times bestselling author P. J. Parrish (Kelly Nichols), award-winning book editor Chris Roerden, and internationally-distributed filmmaker Phillip Lacy. (See below for bios.)

Cost for individual manuscript critique:  $30 per manuscript (includes first 10 consecutive pages critiqued during a 20-minute individual consultation).  All proceeds are being generously donated by Kelly, Chris, and Phillip to Killer Nashville to fund future Killer Nashville events.

For fiction, you may sign up with either Kelly Nichols or Chris Roerden on the Killer Nashville 2006 registration form.  Kelly will only be critiquing novels, no short stories.

For nonfiction, you may sign up with Chris Roerden on the Killer Nashville 2006 registration form.

For screenplays, you may sign up with Phillip Lacy on the Killer Nashville 2006 registration form.

After registration, either Kelly, Chris, or Phillip will contact you to set up a mutually agreeable time to meet.

You will be asked to submit your 10 pages for critique during your registration process.  Each editor will contact you directly to set up a time for the individual critique.

ABOUT P.J. PARRISH (KELLY NICHOLS)

Kelly Nichols is actually one of two sisters who pooled their life-long loves of writing by teaming up in 1995 to create the critically acclaimed and New York Times bestselling Louis Kincaid series under the pen name P. J. Parrish.  Kelly's books have been Edgar, Shamus, and Anthony awards finalists.

ABOUT CHRIS ROERDEN

Chris Roerden began her career in niche publishing in New York City over 40 years ago and launched her own editing business in 1983.  She attended the University of Maine-Portland and received a B.A. in English with highest honors, then an M.A.  In addition to editing mystery fiction, fantasy and sci-fi, and nonfiction books, she also spends her time coaching writers.  Roerden is the author of the recently released book, “Don’t Murder Your Mystery.”

ABOUT PHILLIP LACY

Phillip Lacy is a writer, producer, director, production and post production supervisor for American Blackguard EntertainmentHe has been involved in the production of over a half dozen television pilots and has had over thirty television scripts produced.  His previous work has been licensed to over 800 television broadcasters in over 80 countries, with over 100 million viewers.  Phillip has a B.A. and M.F.A. in Motion Pictures from the University of Miami.  He is a past lecturer and college professor.
