Lucienne Diver is a fifteen year veteran of the publishing business.  She began as an agent at the prestigious Spectrum Literary Agency and has recently moved to The Knight Agency (www.knightagency.net).  She represents over forty authors of fantasy, mystery/suspense and romance and is a member of AAR, SFWA, RWA and MWA.

Jill is an acquiring associate agent at the Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency (www.dijkstraagency.com) and has been in publishing since 2001. With over 100 authors around the world, the Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency has developed a reputation for discovering new talent and representing quality work with great potential. SDLA has helped guide the careers of best-selling authors, including Lisa See, Dianne Mott Davidson, Susan Kandel, Amy Tan, Kate White and many more.

Each person registered for Killer Nashville 2009 has the option to pitch to veteran agent Lucienne Diver (The Knight Agency) and Jill Marr (Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency).  Lucienne and Jill are both looking for new clients.  Each pitch session will be strictly limited to 10 minutes.

Sign up times are limited and will be based upon first-come first-served.  No attendee is guaranteed a pitching position.  In other words, once all slots have been taken, no more can be added.

Maryglenn McCombs has worked in the book publishing industry for nearly 15 years.  A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Maryglenn lives in Nashville with her husband Tim Warnock, and their Old English Sheepdog, Garcia.

Each person registered for Killer Nashville 2009 has the option to pitch to acquisitions editor Maryglenn McCombs (Oceanview Publishing).  Oceanview is looking for new clients.  Each pitch session will be strictly limited to 10 minutes.

Note:  We encourage you to sign up for both the agent and editor one-on-one pitch sessions.  However, to give everyone at least one opportunity to pitch, please specify your first and second choices of either agent or editor.
