Killer Nashville's The Silver Falchion Award
for best book by an attendee at Killer Nashville

This year marks the second annual Silver Falchion Award.

The Silver Falchion is awarded for the best achievement in publishing to a Killer Nashville attending author as voted on by his or her peers.

Fiction and nonfiction books (and collections of stories by one author in a single book form) are all eligible for the Silver Falchion Award.

Authors with more than one eligible title may nominate all eligible titles.

Nominated authors must be registered to attend Killer Nashville 2009 to both be eligible for and to vote for the Silver Falchion Award.  There are NO additional costs to nominate a book for the Silver Falchion Award.

Books published for the first time throughout the 2008-2009 calendar years are eligible for the 2009 Silver Falchion Award.  Books published prior to 2008 are ineligible.

An author may nominate his or her book(s) for a Silver Falchion Award when registering.  Authors wishing to nominate a book subsequent to registering should contact us.

Ballots will be handed out to attendees in their registration packets at the onsite Killer Nashville 2009 registration.

Deadline:  August 1, 2009 is the last day to nominate a book for the Silver Falchion Award.
