The Killer Nashville Claymore AwardEnter your unpublished crime literature manuscript and win a publishing contract!

Register for the Killer Nashville Claymore Awards and judges will consider any subgenre of mystery or thriller, including political thriller, cozy, police procedural, private eye, romantic suspense, paranormal mystery, and historical mystery.

Cost to Enter: Entry Fee $30 / Entry Fee with Critique $50

Finalists will be posted on the Killer Nashville website  and on our past winners page prior to the conference.

Winners will be announced during the award ceremony at Killer Nashville in 2017.  You do not have to be present to win.

Entries are required to be double-spaced, in 12-point Courier or Times New Roman, with at least 1-inch margins. The entry must be on 8½ by 11 inch USA Standard size letter paper. The title and page number are required to appear as a header on each page, but the author’s name should appear ONLY on the registration form. Since the manuscripts are evaluated using a blind judging method, the author’s name cannot appear on the manuscript itself.

Note: Self-published works are considered published and, as such, are ineligible for the Killer Nashville Claymore Award. (Self-published novels are eligible for Killer Nashville’s Silver Falchion Award, if published for the first time during the previous year.)

Published authors are welcome to enter, as long as the manuscript submitted is not currently under contract.
